39th LWT Colloquium

The 39th CVL Leader Without Title Leadership Tribute Colloquium will be held in honour of Chief Don Etiebet @ 73. Chief Etiebet, is no doubt, a major contributor to the growth of ICT industry in Nigeria. He is an acclaimed and acknowledged pioneer investor in indigenous ICT services and development in Nigeria and his activities in bringing computer awareness, use, training and applications in the different sectors of the Nigerian economy are legendary. It is also noteworthy that Chief Don Etiebet initiated the establishment of NCC where he served as a pioneer member of the board.

The ICT industry is one of the fastest growing sectors of the Nigerian economy, creating huge employment for our youth. However, general opinion is that if the government could introduce policies that would protect investment in the sector, that there could be further boost of its growth. In view of this view, CVL is organizing a one-day thought leadership colloquium on the ICT industry/tribute in honour of Chief Don Etiebet of which you are specially invited.

CVL initiated this tribute series to honour outstanding sector leaders for their special contributions in the sector where they worked. This programme is in keeping with our commitment to affect the generation next to be leaders without care for title. It is an honour for people who are 70 years and above who have left a mark worth emulating.
