18th CVL Annual Lecture #CVLAL2021

The 18th edition of the flagship conference hosted by the Centre for Values in Leadership (CVL) is focused on African growth and development with the theme: “Capital, Innovation, Trade, Health and Education as Pathways to Prosperity in Africa”. It is scheduled to hold on Friday February 5, 2021 at 10am (W.A.T.).

Every year, CVL collaborates with renowned world leaders to promote and encourage good leadership in Nigeria and Africa through her flagship programme, the Annual Lecture & International Leadership Symposium. Over the years, CVL has successfully hosted 17 thought-provoking editions, featuring brilliant minds from around the world as speakers with discussion on various issues ranging from Education, Leadership, Health, infrastructure, Democracy, Capital, Values, Agriculture and Entrepreneurship to mention a few.

Previous Keynote speakers include President of Afreximbank Dr. Okey Oramah, Rwanda’s Paul Kagame, President Olusegun Obasanjo, Liberia’s President George Oppong Weah, and General Yakubu Gowon and experts such as Prof Paul Collier, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, and former UNIDO Director-General, Dr. Kendeh Yumkella. The Governors who have participated include Governor Kayode Fayemi, Peter Obi, Lagos State Governors such as Sen. Bola Tinubu, Babatunde Raji Fashola and Akinwumi Ambode, Donald Duke and all the incumbent Jigawa State Governor and past Edo State Governors.
