INVITATION TO ATTEND JULY 2012 EDITION OF CVL ROLE MODEL FORUM FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS.

The Founder of CVL (Centre for Values in Leadership) Prof Pat Utomi, Members of the CVL Board and the Staff of CVL specially invite you to attend the JULY 2012 EDITION of the CVL ROLE MODEL FORUM which will hold on Wednesday July 25th, 2012 at the Julius Berger Hall, University of Lagos by 10.00am.

The “ROLE MODEL FORUM”, is a CVL interactive monthly programme where an individual who has achieved remarkable success in his/her field of endeavour shares his/her life experience(s) that the participants can relate to. The Role Model shares how he overcame challenges while upholding the right values and ethics. The participants will then ask questions and share similar personal experiences and lessons learnt. The goal of this programme is to inspire undergraduate students to become achievers in life and the programme attracts more than 300 undergraduate students.

The main speaker in this JULY EDITION is Prof Pat Utomi (Founder/CEO CVL). Pat Utomi, a professor of political economy and management expert is a Nigerian entrepreneur whose ultimate goal is to positively affect humanity. Utomi had his first degree in mass communications at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN. He also holds MA, MPA, and Ph.D in political economy. Utomi co-founded the Lagos Business School, now Pan African University in 1994 with the Opus Dei.  He coordinated the establishment of several civil society groups on good governance and accountability such as Transparency in Nigeria, CVL (Centre for Values in Leadership) etc. In the business sphere, Utomi is an accomplished columnist, and chairman, BusinessDay Media Limited and creator of Patito’s Gang, a television talk show. Utomi has published several books on political economy and management. He is currently the Founder/CEO of CVL.

The support speaker DJ Jimmy Jatt was born and bred in Lagos Island, Jimmy Amu, popularly known as Cool Dj Jimmy Jatt is a renowned Disc Jockey who is known for setting the pace for Hip hop music in the country and beyond. Formerly, known as Master J, Dj Jimmy Jatt came into the music industry as a rapper with lot of demos but after a fruitless search getting a record label to support him, he started deejaying with the support of his brothers. He developed an interest in Hip hop and rap at an early age and grew up listening to a lot of rap albums from the late 70’s. He has earned several awards such as Channel O Africa Music Video Award, Hip hop World Award, SoundCity Music Video Award, Nigerian Music Video Award, Nigerian Music Award nominations to mention a few. Cool Dj Jimmy Jatt has a T.V programme called ‘Jimmy’s Jump Off’ currently airing on local and international stations.
